Vance McKenzie

Technical Director / Lighting Designer

Vance joined Ballet Nouveau Colorado in the fall of 2008 as Technical Director after serving as the University of Florida’s Master Electrician. He is a Lighting Designer, technician and programmer originally from Carbondale, Colo. He received his MFA in Technical Theatre from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and his BA from the University of Northern Colorado. Vance has worked for Nevada Conservatory Theatre, Super Summer Theatre, Aspen Theatre in the Park, Little Theatre of the Rockies, Swamp Gravy and Clint Holmes. Some of his design credits include The Glass Menagerie starring Sandy Duncan for the Nevada Conservatory Theatre, Sin City the Vaudeville Years at the Adelaide Fringe Festival and Bells are Ringing for Super Summer Theatre.
