Last night I had the great privilege to see our former student, Bridget Maginity, dance the lead in George Balanchine's Allegro Brilliante at the University of Arizona. It was a quick trip, but so beautifully justified from the moment she stepped on stage. As professor and world-wide master teacher James Clouser said of Bridget last night, "She makes me understand the music - she IS the music."
