Early Dance

Dance with Me

Ages 1-3 & their caregivers

You and your toddler will build connections while bopping, wiggling and dancing in a safe and fun environment. This early-learning dance class teaches toddlers and caregivers body rhythms and musicality based on national standards for early childhood development.

Classes run in 10 weeks sessions:
Fall Session September 5 – November 12, 2011
Winter Session January 2 – March 10, 2012
Spring Session April 6 – June 9, 2012

Pre-School Ballet

Ages 3 & 4

Through games, play and imagination exercises your pre-school student will learn to skip, march and gallop alongside the basics of ballet, rhythm and counting.

Students perform for their parents, family and friends at the end of the session in their very own Pre-School Ballet Gala presented in BNC’s studio theatre.

Program Includes

• Pre-School Ballet
• Pre-School Tap

Recommendations & Requirements

• 1-2 ballet classes per week
• Tap students must take at least 1 ballet class per week

Ballet I

Ages 5-8

Your student will develop musical awareness, rhythm and coordination through the fundamentals of ballet, creative movement, acting and games.

Program Includes

• Ballet I
• Tap I/II
• Boys I

Recommendations & Requirements

• 1-2 ballet classes per week
• Tap students must take at least 1 ballet class per week
• Boys I must be preceded by ballet technique class

Ballet II

Placement by School Director

In Ballet II, your student will continue to build on their knowledge of ballet’s fundamentals. They begin exploring new musical structures, movement and vocabulary alongside creative movement, visualization and acting.

Program Includes

• Ballet II
• Tap I/II
• Boys I

• Tap students must take at least 1 ballet class per week
